Whenever you list an item, make sure you put the proper tags and keywords into your description. This way, search engines like google, yahoo, msn, etc... will be able to index your listing better on relevant searches.
So for example, if your selling a tv, use tags like (tv, selling, online shopping, tv for sale, sony tv, buy tv, sell tv).. You get the idea.
Just make sure that in your descriptions, you use those relevant keywords as much as possible to get a better relevant search and ranking.
