Auction Sites Are A Thing Of The Past

Auction sites are no longer the "hip" way to sell online. Does anybody actually still use them? I stopped using them because there is way too many people selling the exact same thing, they are very costly, and nobody even uses the actual auction feature anymore! It's all "Buy It Now".

I tried searching for a new computer monitor and what happened...about 20 million listings and it seemed like every single one was the same. Not to mention that about 4 out of the 20 million was actually an auction. The rest were just "Buy It Now" items. If I wanted to "buy it now", I would have just went to a store.

The purpose of an auction site is to have an actual auction? RIGHT! Anyone can have a store and sell stuff. Another thing that bothered me was the shipping and all these goofy fees that got added on that weren't listed until you actually view the item, scroll down to the very bottom and look for it. So if you see a monitor listed for $129.99, your really paying $199.99 because the seller is a crook and is charging $50 for shipping and $20 for a mysterious handling charge. Hmmmm... I think not!

We at Sellbits.com won't confuse the buyer or the seller in anyway. We make it simple to buy and sell things. No more auctions, No more bidding, and No more misleading items. What you see is what you'll pay.

You as a seller know how much you want for an item. Simply post that item for the price you want. If a buyer isn't satisfied with that price, they have the option to make you an offer. As a seller, you can either accept it or reject it. The choice is yours.

Also, in every listings there is only one (1), and I mean (1) price! No more shipping fees and handling fees and tax fees and fee after fee of numbers flying all over place. When your selling an item or buying an item, the price you see or post is the final price. So if your selling a $100 item and it will cost $20 to ship, simply list the item for $120. That's it! This way, when a buyer is browsing the site looking for something, all the prices he would see would be the total (including fees). Amazing!

At sellbits.com, we also won't charge are members ridiculous fees! We aren't greedy. We simply wanted to make a site that's easy for people to use without the headache of "How do I do this" or "Gosh, which category do i post in". Yeah... i know, you've had that problem before as well. On top of that, we allow for up to 8 pictures hosted on our site for free and unlimited pictures in your description if you know HTML.

All those auction sites have about 20 thousands categories. So which one do you post in? How long does it take you to actually find a category and post your item? The average time it takes a normal user to post an item on ebay is about 25-35 minutes. WOW! I could have found someone on the street corner to buy my item faster. It will take you 5 minutes just to find a category using them.

Sellbits.com only has main categories! Not endless sub-categories. If your selling a pair of shoes, simply post it under shoes. NOT Shoes -> Brand -> Color -> Size -> Weight -> Style -> Condition -> Price -> Location. See what I mean? Very Time consuming!

So ask yourself this question, "Why am I still trying to sell my stuff on some confusing auction site, when I could be selling it an easier way"?

Stop getting ripped off on auctions site such as ebay.com or ebid.net and see how easy it is to sell on Sellbits.com.
